So, you’ve read my blogs (they’re here, if you haven’t), and you’d really like me to visit and blog about your event/attraction/pretty corner of the world?
I’d love to!
I’m always very keen to hear about places to visit, where they’re happy for me to photograph and share the story on my blog pages. Please get in touch!
The reality is …
… that getting to you might be a problem. Sadly, writing blogs is not a money-making venture. If I produced YouTube videos and had hundreds of thousands of followers, I’d have an income stream and could afford to visit places all around the world to share their stories. I might get into that at some point. That is not the case now, however. Right now, I visit places when I have time off from work and the money to afford the trip.
But please, do get in touch. I keep a list of places that have been suggested. If I’m travelling that way for some other reason, or if there’s several interesting places in close proximity, that does make a visit considerably more likely. If you’re prepared to contribute something towards the costs, that also helps.
The fine print
Please understand that I will declare quite explicitly in a blog if a venue has provided any sort of assistance and/or had advance notice of my visit. Depending on the nature of what is occurring, that may be perceived by readers as potentially influencing my experience. My general preference would be to have permission in advance to photograph at the venue, but not inform the venue of the day or time of the visit – either in advance or on arrival.
Vlogging/YouTube videos
And in all seriousness, if you’re interested in letting me do a vlog for posting on my page on YouTube, please let me know that too. I’m still very much am amateur in that space, but as long as you don’t mind that, I’m happy to give it a go. I’ll take photographs too and do a combined blog and vlog.
Contact me through the “Send Us a Message” tab below, and I’ll be in touch.
Please include contact details so I can get back to you – an email address preferred, but a phone number would do.
